Mike Thomas is a retired pensions actuary. For six years he was a Trustee of Suited & Booted and continues to volunteer for the charity in various ways. Now dividing his time between Uffington and Crete, he helps with things that can be done remotely such as grant applications and maintaining our database of supporters. Mike also runs a fundraising pub quiz twice a year.

Dee is a former Chartered Financial Analyst who works with us every day to accept donations, make a clothing display, replenish ties and cufflinks, and any other tasks that need to be done to set up for the day. Dee also enjoys styling clients who come to us for interview suits.

Monique Sahki is a Mindful Consultant, Coach, Therapist & Author: in Life, Image, Body, Mind & Spaces/Wellbeing & Wellness, who volunteers at Suited & Booted every week as a coach and stylist, helping our clients look and feel their best ready for their interviews and workplaces. 

Paul Ferguson is International Customer Success Manager at a cybersecurity and systems management company. A qualified mentor with a curiosity about men’s style, Paul believes in the importance of our clients looking the part for their interviews, and has been using volunteer time off granted by his employer to work as a stylist at Suited & Booted since 2021.

Sheldon Odartey is a Finance Officer who has been volunteering at Suited & Booted since 2019. Currently volunteering as Bookkeeper. Sheldon has also raised funds for us by running sponsored races.

Sonny Grant-O’Sullivan is a bespoke London based tailor for professionals looking to dress better. As a volunteer stylist with Suited & Booted, he volunteers his time and expertise as a tailor and fashion expert to help style our clients to feel smart and confident.

Kathleen has volunteered with Suited & Booted for more than five years. As a wardrobe assistant, she helps get our clothes ready for our clients. Kathleen finds it very gratifying to see our clients leave looking great and feeling positive about their upcoming interview.

David volunteers for S&B as a stylist and is himself a modernist interested in style and classics. Inspired by the 60’s , The Ivy League and vintage clothing, David is an obsessive for detail and enjoys styling our clients to look their best for their interviews and beyond. 

Alex volunteers as a stylist at S&B. His background is as a fashion designer for leading brands. He’s all about attention to detail and making our clients feel and look their very best. 

Antonio was a former client who now volunteers with us as a Wardrobe Assistant and also assists with logistics. He tells us that “it’s great to be supporting Suited & Booted as they helped me in my hour of need”.

David is a retired registered nurse who worked with children and young people with mental health and behavioural problems for 41 years. He still works part-time as well as making time to volunteer for Suited & Booted. Over the more than eight years that David has volunteered for us, he has undertaken many roles and currently enjoys his role as a stylist for our clients.

Philip is a Chartered Accountant and has been volunteering with Suited & Booted since 2018 after being inspired by Maria addressing an audience at a gig in the Electric Ballroom in Camden. Philip provides interview support and advice spending time in the Suited & Booted premises on some days or by telephone session. 

Ottilie works as a stylist at Suited & Booted and has a background in textile design within the furnishings industry. She began her career in menswear and still loves helping clients feel confident in their appearance and ready to embrace the opportunities ahead of them. 

Donna Taylor is a Professional Stylist and Fashion Editor who has worked for brands such as Burberry. She volunteers one day a month at S&B as she finds it such a rewarding experience offering her services to those who really value and appreciate the service this incredible charity offers. 

Chris enjoys volunteering at Suited & Booted as a Stylist and co-facilitator on interview preparation workshops. His career background is in human resources with particular interests in recruitment, coaching and team-building. 

Chloe is a Senior Account Director for an advertising agency as well as a volunteer stylist for both Suited & Booted and Smartworks. She’s a big believer in how you dress externally can impact how you feel internally and finds her regular sessions with our clients inspirational.

Douglas McGinn originally came to Suited & Booted as a client, referred by HMP Hollesley Bay. He has a background in made-to-measure tailoring. He volunteers for the charity both as a stylist and managing donations. 

Esmé comes in with Douglas. She wasn’t sure about the charity to begin with but has become the only paid volunteer (in treats!) and she now loves visiting and has become the official Suited & Booted mascot.

After being made redundant over Covid, Sarah retrained as a personal stylist helping men and women with their clothes and confidence. She has been volunteering at Suited & Booted for about a year and finds it so rewarding to see clients smile when she finds the suit for them!

Patricia volunteers as a stylist at Suited &Booted. Her background is as a Fashion Product Developer who has worked for various luxury brands.  She says that volunteering as a stylist is a pleasure, witnessing someone leave more confident and determined to make positive changes is truly rewarding.
