Vincent recently visited Suited & Booted to be fitted out with an interview suit after being referred by the Jobcentre due to his low-income and the need to have suitable clothing for interviews.

He tells us that he had previously struggled to find the empathy and help that he needed.

In Vincent’s words: “I initially walked into the building that houses Suited & Booted London and was greeted by the doorman who was extremely warm and professional. Despite this I was still very anxious as to what I was about to face; due to some previous bad experiences that left me feeling humiliated. Fortunately for me, I received exceptional advice and service on my job searching journey. You showed me respect and true understanding; fortified with a true and deep commitment to empowering me to have the clothing and resources to obtain suitable employment. This excellent customer care and service also continued with members of staff providing me with the information and advice that I needed to help me feel confident in the manner I presented myself, to employers both in person and online.

For the first time in two years, I felt human, valued and seen thanks to the compassion and professionalism of your stylist. It was absolutely breathtaking to see the pride and ownership he took in ensuring I looked the best and drew out the self-worth and justified self-confidence he saw in me. It is very rare that you experience exceptional customer service and care once – let alone back-to-back within the same organisation.

I was completely taken aback from the level of intellect and insight that was bestowed upon me in my pursuit of maximising my qualification and experience in order to obtain and sustain suitable work experience, through editing and repairing my CV. I thoroughly appreciated the knowledge, wisdom and candour. Also thanks to your receptionist who was truly a breath of fresh air! She was such a vibrant and warm presence to all that she met; ensuring that everyone was seen and signposted accordingly. Thank you so much for the service you and your team offer. You should be very proud of them and the work you all deliver.”

Vincent is currently attending interviews as he confidently continues his search for full-time employment.
