Kiyia’s story

As part of Oliver Brown’s continued partnership with Suited & Booted, they conducted a Q&A with Kiyia, one of the young men supported through our charity’s work.

In this interview, Kiyia reflects on how feeling properly prepared and wearing the right clothes helped build the confidence to step into new opportunities.

Kiyia is a care leaver who began advocating nationally at fifteen, pictured here speaking at the Care Leavers National Movement conference. He is now beginning a Chartered Management Degree Apprenticeship.
